Japan’s Prime Minister Wished Barron Trump Happy Birthday at a State Dinner and the Left Absolutely Cannot Handle It

The Prime Minister of Japan just stood up at a White House state dinner, in front of seventy of the most powerful people on the planet, and wished Barron Trump a happy 20th birthday. She called him a “very tall, good-looking gentleman” and told President Trump it was obvious where Barron got his looks. The room erupted in applause. Somewhere in Brooklyn, a blue-haired blogger choked on her oat milk latte.

Whoa! Someone get the Huffington Post a fainting couch. A world leader just said something nice about the Trump family and they’re going to need therapy.

Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi — Japan’s first female prime minister, by the way, in case the feminists want to keep score — made the birthday shoutout during her remarks at the dinner on March 19th. Barron turned 20 the next day. “As I see you, Donald, it is very clear where he got it, of course, from his parents,” Takaichi said, as Trump stood there grinning like a proud dad at a Little League game. Except his kid is 6-foot-9 and studying business at NYU.

The dinner was packed. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink — the same tech and finance titans who pretended Trump didn’t exist for four years are now fighting for seats at his table. Golden tablecloths, golden cutlery, seventy guests in the State Dining Room. But sure, tell us again how “isolated” Trump is on the world stage.

The Huffington Post described Takaichi’s birthday wish as “stroking Trump’s ego.” The Daily Beast called it “cringe.” These are the same people who spent four years watching world leaders literally wander away from Joe Biden at the G7 while he tried to shake hands with thin air. That wasn’t cringe. That was a “sharp as a tack” president doing “sharp as a tack” things. “Quick, someone check if the Japanese PM complimented the president’s son! This is LITERALLY fascism!” — your average MSNBC viewer, probably.

(Remember when Biden got lost on the White House lawn and the Easter Bunny had to herd him back inside? Good times.)

Takaichi also brought a gift — 250 cherry trees for America’s 250th birthday. The original cherry trees along the Tidal Basin in Washington were a gift from Japan back in 1912. So this is a tradition that goes back more than a century. When Trump is your president, world leaders show up with thoughtful gifts and genuine warmth. When the dementia potato was president, they showed up with handlers and a list of topics to avoid in case it confused him.

Now here’s the part the media won’t spend any time on because it doesn’t fit the “Trump is destroying alliances” fairy tale they’ve been selling for a decade.

Takaichi isn’t just being nice. She’s a hard-line conservative — the most pro-America prime minister Japan has had in a generation. She and Trump signed a memorandum on deep-sea minerals cooperation during the visit. We’re talking rare-earth minerals near Japan’s Minamitorishima Island — the kind of stuff China has been hoarding for years to hold over everyone’s heads. That’s not a photo-op friendship. That’s a strategic alliance getting tighter while Beijing nervously stress-eats dumplings.

The South China Morning Post — which is basically a Chinese state-adjacent outlet — ran a headline calling Takaichi “Trump’s biggest cheerleader.” When Chinese media is upset about how close Japan and America are getting, you know we’re doing something right.

And about Barron. The kid is 20 years old, 6-foot-9, and a sophomore at the Stern School of Business at New York University. That’s one of the top business schools in the country. World leaders are already learning his name and wishing him happy birthday at state dinners. The liberal media spent years mocking this kid — remember when a congressional staffer got fired for attacking a teenager? — and now foreign heads of state are calling him a “good-looking gentleman” on the world stage.

Mark my words: Barron Trump is going to be a problem for the Left for the next fifty years. Whether he goes into business, politics, or both, the Trump family isn’t going anywhere. The Democrats spent eight years trying to destroy Donald Trump and all they managed to do was make the entire family more famous, more popular, and more powerful. Barron was 10 years old when his dad first took office. He grew up watching the entire establishment try to take down his father and fail. You think that kid is going to be intimidated by a nasty tweet from AOC?

The dynasty that the Left tried to destroy is throwing state dinners with world leaders who line up to pay their respects. Japan’s prime minister is complimenting the president’s son. Tech billionaires are sitting at golden tables hoping for a handshake. And the same media outlets that told us Trump would be a pariah on the world stage are writing articles about how a birthday wish was “cringe.”

We’re living in their nightmare and it looks an awful lot like winning.
